The weather was beautiful and the competition was very tough!  The kids from TVMS East and West both had a great showing!  We placed very well with a first in discus by Clinton Stamper with Clayton Seymour and Ryan from West following with a 2nd and 3rd also in discus.

We were minding our own business...watching the track meet...aka...the controlled chaos , loose your mind if you have two kids doing it at the same time teays valley track meet..and who walked by....our baseball boys team covered in mud...oh my gosh..the poor things...they looked so wet and ...well yuck...so I snapped offf a couple of shots so you could see their dedication to the game...mmmm...or how you can put a kid in middle school but they still like to play in mud puddles pictures..lol

Teays Valley should be proud of the showing at the County Track meet held at Westfall.  The boys tied with the Westfall team for the win!  It was an exciting meet and every kid was trying their hardest! 

The staff at TVMS East hosted the annual OAT pep rally on Friday, April 23rd.  Shannon Helser mc'd the event and all in attendance were treated to a performance by Mr. Hurt's band and the staff rap groups whose spirit rep, Ms. Hoover, was generating alot of support and appreciation for the relay race for the coloring of the dots!

The track team attended the Westfall Middle School Relay tournament. The boys took first place while the girls finished third overall , competing against 5 other schools. Congratulations to all the kids and coaches.

TVEMS hosted Circleville and Logan Elm McDowell tonight. The competition was tough and alot of great athletes were in attendance. The Viking Boys took first place overall and the girls....well we will get em next time. We hope you enjoy the new pictures that are posted. If anyone has any they would like put up here email it to me and we will get it added.

TVEMS hosted  it's first ever track meet . 4 schools were in attendance and there was a large size crowd. We will post the pictures here...if you don't see yourself catch us at the next meet and we will get you in here. Oh and by the way TVEMS won the meet!  Grats kids!

The middle schools 6-7th grade girls and the all grades "Dudes Choir" preformed at the High School. The kids sounded great. Marquee "fishing trip" by Max Samlow was awsome. Sam soloed and was a crowd favorite.
